Sian is passionate about the internet, a community builder, marketer and online video expert. She has spent the last 5 years working for high growth NZ tech companies implementing and managing their online strategies, growing their communities, creating and curating content across multiple platforms.
Sian operates the Kiwi Landing Pad globally as the sole employee, supporting the board and Chairman/Co-Founder (John Holt); working closely together to achieve the KLP 20 year mission which is to make a meaningful impact on the New Zealand Technology and Innovation Community. Currently we are 8 years in.
Sian oversees the full program of works which covers all aspects of Community, Content, Marketing, Operations and Program Delivery.
We work on the core pillars of providing our community with Networks, Information and Access. Our community is going on 4,000 strong with members in over 32 countries around the world.
We have an exciting mission to take New Zealand technology to the world, and help make New Zealand a world class place to live where Kiwi's thrive in business, life and environment.
Chairman
John is a serial entrepreneur passionate about Technology, Innovation and New Zealand. Based in Wellington New Zealand, John has worked as a senior executive in multinational corporations Xerox, HP, IBM and ANZ Banking Group and now focuses on internet based technologies and commercialisation opportunities.
In 2006 he co founded Sonar6 an HR Technology company which he was CEO and Director of until 2012 when the company was acquired by NASDAQ listed company Cornerstone on Demand.
John acts an advisor and part time executive for a number of tech companies in New Zealand and San Francisco and is a Director of Generator, Kiwi Landing Pad and Technology and Innovations New Zealand.
Board Director
Sam started his career at Deloitte Consulting and is best known for founding online auction website Trade Me which, in 2006, sold for $750 million. Sam also built successful online dating and friend reuniting businesses in New Zealand, Australia and Canada.
Sam serves on the Board of Directors at Xero, VisFleet and Fairfax Media Limited. Sam is an active investor and philanthropist through Jasmine Investment Holdings Limited.
