Kiwi Founder Stories with Alliv Samson | COO & Co-Founder @ Kami
October 4, 2016 @ 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm| Free
KIWI LANDING PAD PRESENTS:
To continue the momentum of our Sales & Marketing Jam Series, we’ve listened to your feedback and bring you the next session in our Kiwi Founder Series. The aim is to continue the conversation and bring you awesome people in market who are ‘doing it’ in a simple ‘crowdcast format‘ that allows access to targeted knowledge sharing without taking too much time out of your busy day.
Ask your burning questions, upvote questions you want to see answered, take part in polls and chat with the community while you listen. This is another of those ‘what you put in is what you get out’ type scenarios. We bring you the people; you ask what you want to know.
Join us online to hear from Alliv Samson, COO & CoFounder of Kami, sharing her experience and knowledge building out a global tech company just out of university.
Tune in, or catch up later, we bring you a digestible format that you can listen to whilst at your desk working, or come back and watch the recording later.
SPEAKER BIO: ALLIV SAMSON | COO & CoFounder @ KAMI
Alliv Samson is a 20-something tech entrepreneur surviving between Auckland and San Francisco. She is a graduate of the University of Auckland (BA Political Studies and Film, Television, and Media Studies) and a proud De La Salle University-Manila alumnae (BS Computer Science and AB International Relations). She specializes in a lot of things, including marketing, social media, website development, graphics design, photography, film production, creative direction, and more.
She currently spends most of her time working as the chief operating officer of Notable PDF, which she co-founded. Amongst her achievements is growing a blog into a media company in New Zealand—Alliv Media Limited, which owns one of New Zealand’s most popular sitesXYNZ Magazine. By now, you get the picture that she doesn’t have weekends or holidays.
Alliv failed a couple of times but still believes that pursuing your dream is better than being cautious. “Risk it,” she says. Failing is the best way to learn.
Kiwi Landing Pad (KLP) was established in 2011 to help selected high growth New Zealand technology companies establish and grow their business in the USA.
