- History - Spending 6 years at PwC before going it alone. Travelling to SFO and returning to NZ with grand plans to create a Dodgeball clone (pre-cursor to FourSquare which Dennis Crowley sold to Google) and the 7 ‘failed products’ on the journey to Mobi2Go.
- Investment - keeping a tight investor base, bootstrapping and why this has allowed us to lay a super strong foundation for success. Currently looking to raise another round and the discussions around whether to continue with local high-net worths or bring in Australian VC’s and the changes in dynamics that this will bring.
- Sales - looking for that elusive repeatable sales process, the importance of sharing experiences with others and learning from their experiences and how every company is internally struggling with the same issues.
- General themes - it’s hard, lonely but so much fun. Are we moving fast enough a constant worry. Imposter syndrome etc…
