Online: Katie Byrne, Global Head of Social Media @ Xero | Why Social Media Is Changing How We Do Business
March 29, 2017 @ 10:00 am - 11:00 pm| Free
KIWI LANDING PAD PRESENTS:
To continue the momentum of our Sales & Marketing Jam Series, we’ve listened to your feedback and bring you the next session in our NZSMJ series. The aim is to continue the conversation and bring you awesome people in market who are ‘doing it’ in a simple ‘crowdcast format‘ that allows access to targeted knowledge sharing without taking too much time out of your busy day.
Ask your burning questions, upvote questions you want to see answered, take part in polls and chat with the community while you listen. This is another of those ‘what you put in is what you get out’ type scenarios. We bring you the people; you ask what you want to know.
Join us online, Wednesday 29th March at 10am (NZT) to hear from Xero Global Head of Social Media, Katie Byrne.
Social Media Spotlight:
In this webinar we are going to cover how social media is changing how we do business.
- Using Social Media in unsexy industries
- The differences in Social Media Strategy for B2B vs. B2C
- The Power of Social Media
- Social Media with/without budget
Tune in, or catch up later, we bring you a digestible format that you can listen to whilst at your desk working, or come back and watch the recording later.

I enjoy sharing and hearing best practice and have spoken at conferences in both in the UK and NZ (including lectures at the prestigious Science Museum, London).
I am passionate about supporting small/medium businesses, not-for-profit and the start-up community and I design and facilitate social media/comms/PR strategy workshops with the aim of building capability. I am a committee member and strategist for two national NFP organisations: the Community Comms Collective and Good Bitches Baking.
I am a business mentor for two national initiatives – Live the Dream and Cultivate Mentoring Labs and I am a contributing editor for NZ Marketing Magazine.
A fast-paced, collaborative environment where ideas and innovation flow make me happy – along with test matches, football, photography, book club, painting and cooking.
