Kiwi Landing Pad hosted a number of New Zealand’s leading entrepreneurs for the New Zealand Technology Industry Association mission to the San Francisco Bay Area. It gave them the opportunity to learn about what it is like to be in-market and to talk to Kiwi companies who have ‘been there, done that’. Some of our resident companies gave the visiting entrepreneurs a taste of what it takes to succeed and some of the lessons that they have learned. Also featured in the video is one of New Zealand’s most famous entrepreneurs, Sir Stephen Tindall who is also a sponsor and supporter of Kiwi Landing Pad.

It’s widely known that Silicon Valley is the largest tech hub in the world, and has a concentrated start-up community, as well as large base of established companies and investor networks. Experiencing the business practices and culture of the area first hand is crucial to the development of any tech company. Kiwi Landing Pad allows companies to get a really quick start into the local San Francisco and Bay Area technology market.
