C++, Ruby, Python, Basic Linux administration, Network-level programming, REST, AJAX.
Potential Projects:
- If you know C++ or Python, and you are familiar with network-level programming, you can participate in the policy engine - add more features to our software-based routing with its expandable intelligence interfaces.
- If you are comfortable with basic Linux administration, and know some Python or Ruby, do some work in the DevOps Orchestration Layer - work with cloud providers like AWS, Linode, Rackspace and others using the latest tool sets to drive auto-scaling with feedback and hysteresis.
- Build out performance labs for testing, simulating end-to-end Pertino Networks. Built with traffic-tampering tools, we’ll measure performance and compare using statistical implication methods.
Marketing & Communications: One role available.
Suited to candidates:
Recently graduated, or in their final year of a Marketing, Communications, Statistics, Journalism, English or equivalent degree.
Desirable skills:
- You appreciate the well-written word, consistency, and design.
- Project management is your middle name, and you do it with rigorous attention to detail, and focus on quality of deliverables.
- You have a quantitative background and work well with analytical tools and projects.
- Flexibility and curiosity are great assets.
Potential Projects:
- Define and run Marketo experiments.
- Identify new demand generation sources for increasing website traffic cost effectively.
- Define and run website experiments.
- Create a report on won-lost customers:
- Build a customer database with multiple inputs of data: Marketo, Product, SFDC, etc.
- Identify for marketing the key differences between closed-won opportunities and closed-lost opportunities.
- Interview closed-won and closed-lost prospects to get qualitative and quantitative data: steps, options, resources > learn from them and document.
